I'm surprised a guy like that went to church at all. He must have been "fun" to have as a parishioner. I wonder if Obama will go to his funeral to cry personally, or will he send Joe Biden to cry for him? I don't know if his own death was more painful than what he personally inflicted on thousands. And frankly, I don't care. I'm sorry the abortion industry has itself a martyr. I'd have preferred him to have his industry shut down in a different way. Like people coming to their senses.
On the plus side, more babies in the Wichita area may have a chance to live.

Pray that God has Mercy, but on the plus side as you said, 100's of thousands of babies can now live.
Murder is murder is murder, As Pope john Paul ll reminded the extremists in Ireland during his visit there.
Reason and much prayer and maybe protest marches are needed, not murder of a man no matter how despicable he is.
Oh, it's murder all right Father. But I'm relieved that those babies who were scheduled to die by having their brains sucked out today won't have that happen. The fact remains that had the jury properly done their duties, the abortionist would be behind bars instead of the morgue.
I cannot help but think of the words we say when praying the Rosary -
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy.
This man's soul is now in dire need of mercy - we know he was in church when he was killed, so presumably was seeking Our Lord, and it is not for us to know how he was able to commit the sins he did.
We also need to pray for his killer - I am reminded of part of the late Monsinor Gilbey's book "We Believe" in which he discusses the idea "What profits a man if he gain the whole world (FOR CHRIST) but suffer the loss of his own soul?" We cannot justify sin, even when it is committed in a 'good cause'.
Finally, let's hope that even some of these babies do get a reprieve and that there isn't just another abortionist waiting to step into the dead man's shoes; and let's hope that this man doesn't get held up as a 'martyr' for the pro-abortion cause.
Domine, miserere.
Mater misericordiae, ora pro nobis.
Karen,
I too am delighted that far fewer children will be brutally murdered through abortion . I more than once held in my arms the body of a fully formed aborted baby who was heavier than many smaller babies I had baptised in the Special Care Baby Unit a bit further along the corridor. Nevertheless those aborted saints would not condone murder of anyone! I am not suggesting that you condone murder.
Wow, Fr. EP. How is it you were there so soon after the abortion? I thought they kept priests well away from the event.
And Mattheus, how true. I don't condone his execution either. I do not know if he died immediately or not, I hope not, so that he had time to try and repent.
At request of the mothers, usually, being forced by husbands to have abortions. Other times I was shown the aborted children by some very sympathetic nurses.
Father, how awful. And I don't doubt about the part about the husbands forcing the wives to have abortions. I know someone who's husband "wasn't ready to be a daddy." She told him she would NEVER do that again. She was not Catholic, but was not practising her Christian faith at the time. Her husband was an atheist. Every time she looks at her children, she thinks "there should be one more." Many years ago when I found this out, I was shocked that a married woman, in no financial difficulties would do this. Sad to say, I've heard of this scenario too many times.
