Which kid was the last one in the Sacristy?
My money is on B. A was the NEXT to the last one, but didn't want to wear the "high waters" cassock, so he grabbed the long one and risked walking up the inside of it rather than hear "is there a flood around here?" jokes. I bet B was ticked. Ha. Should have left the house earlier. He'll remember next time!

Although B is ready for the floof, A has been out in the sun longer (I'll even bet B's cassock is the newest)
These kids all have longer cassocks than the albs worn over rolled-up blue jeans by the altargirls in our parish last weekend.
It's what happens when you don't keep up on the stock of albs/cassocks. Or have too many kids the same size. About two years ago we were really depleted with MEDIUM sizes. For kids of about 12 or so. Oh, we had plenty of really short ones, for the 8 or 9 year olds, and plenty of tall ones...but NO or really ratty Mid sized ones. When one of our servers was learning, he was very tall for aged 10. I said, X, you're just going to have to GROW 2 inches for me. [He was shooting up like a weed at the time - and the short ones were very much high waters on him, and the long oned he could wear IF he cinched it up so the cincture went TIGHTLY around his waist and a good couple inches of alb were over the top.
Bless him, he shot up another 3 inches in the next few months. ?No kidding.
