What herb is that? I've never heard of it. I am cat nip. Thanks for the quiz.

I'm rosemary... which is apparently great for dandruff, though I'm not about to ditch the Head and Shoulders.

Esther: It's a new one to me too.

Stephen Rosemary Houlihan. I like it!

Since you're Baptized, does that make you "Holy Moly"? And does Moly go with moose?

Honey, moose goes with everything. Especially me.

* Moly (Greek: μῶλυ) is a magic herb with a black root and white blossoms in Greek mythology. In Homer's Odyssey, Hermes gave this herb to Odysseus to protect him from Circe's incantation. It can be plucked only by celestial hands.

* Moly is a wild European plant of the lily family also called Golden Garlic or Lily Leek (Allium moly)

Not sure which one they mean... take your pick!

Thanks Mac! It was a new one on me. I hope there was some magical incantation to get your bookmarks back. I like "these bookmarks better come back or I'm going to kill somebody."

I just KNEW someone would go the route of posting the "Holy Moly" joke, and I just KNEW it would be Archangel's Advocate because I have SUFFERED innumerable times with his bad puns to the point of wondering whether the holiday would REALLY be RUINED if I bludgeoned him to death with my late, beloved mother-in-law's ROASTED DUCK.

No, knowing my husband's family, everybody would just keep eating and ignore the obvious, such as a bloddied body slumped over the table . . .

Digi, of corpse they would notice, they just wouldn't see anything unusual about. And its really "fowl" to us my mother's duck to do me in!

well, it's not really a good party unless the cops have been called out.....

Gem,

They almost were at Thanksgiving at my husband's aunt and uncle's place. I was ready to deck my aunt-in-law one but there was a priest at the table.

gemoftheocean said...

Digi, hell having a priest at the table should have made you do it -- that way the person could get last rites, and you could go to confession and still have Thanksgiving dinner without so much as turning a hair all before the cops got there ... if someone was so foolish to call the cops.

I got Moly too. There was one question I could've answered another way. I should see if that changes anything.

Just redid it...this time it was catnip. At least it wasn't mandrake. Yuck.

There was one answer I changed too Swiss, because I was "close but not quite" -- and it too turned me to catnip. But Moly probably IS more accurate!
