...who yesterday won the Little League World series, beating out Chinese Taipei 6-3. 6500 little league teams from the US and around the world vied to get a spot in this 63rd classic played in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They are from Chula Vista, Ca. - a bedroom community of San Diego.
Last time the county (El Cajon) took the title was in 1961.
Well done, guys. There will be a parade and rally for them this Friday in Chula Vista, and both the Padres and Chargers will honor the team in front of the home town fans.

Betcha no 15 year old's on this team.
Yup. It sickens me how for many years the asian teams got away with murder playing 15-17 year old kids against 12-13 year olds.
We'll never know if our kids would have won had some of the other teams not cheated.
