NO Ex Post Facto Laws

What is it about the phrase "No Ex Post Facto" Laws the ZERO administration does not understand? i.e. You can't make a new law, and have it applied to something that happened in the past.

For instance -- if the law said: "If you speed at 80-100 miles an hour, your maximum fine will be 100 bucks." Then the max fine is 100 bucks. PERIOD. Full Stop. They can't say "Oh, well, that 100 bucks we charged you was too low...you owe us an additional 500 bucks." No even half-assed court in the land would put up with the NEW law applying to things that had happened.

I came across this article from the Priestly Pugilist, an Australian, and his theory seems plausible to me, that it's a bit of a collusion between the NY Times and Obana for getting back at the church for not supporting ObamaCare and for the Church giving Obama a hard time. The story is OLD news, covered well over a decade ago.

In short I don't think this is implausible. Granted, you have to Be able to prove the NY Times and Zero colluded on this, but I don't think it's more than a half-inch jump. Especially given that Hussein repeated tried to foist pro-abortion diplomats to represent the US to the Holy See - in a blatant in your face move.

The scheme, called the Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP), was designed to reduce patient suffering in their final hours.

Developed by Marie Curie, the cancer charity, in a Liverpool hospice it was initially developed for cancer patients but now includes other life threatening conditions.

It was recommended as a model by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (Nice), the Government’s health scrutiny body, in 2004.

It has been gradually adopted nationwide and more than 300 hospitals, 130 hospices and 560 care homes in England currently use the system. "

I worked in the ICU of an Arizona hospital years ago, and I recall one staff physician who rather routinely ordered massive doses of potassium chloride to hasten the deaths of "hopelessly terminal" patients. I supported that practice then, and I support it now, and if I'm ever a "gork" (as such patients were referred to), I hope someone's around to do the same for me. You religious zealots simply have no faith!
