Nice to know it's all about skin color after all

I don't know who scares me more. Obama, or his followers.

From the Topeka Capital-Journal:

Planning underway for Obama Holiday.

"
The Capital-Journal
Published Sunday, November 09, 2008

Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation's 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.

"Yes We Can" planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald's restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama's honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.

At 7:30 a.m. on Inauguration Day, Obama Cake will be served at the downtown McDonald's, and a celebration is scheduled for 8 p.m. to midnight Jan. 20 at the Ramada Hotel and Convention Center, 420 S.E. 6th." [boycott anyone?]

Okay, so he was born half-black...and that entitles him to a "National Holiday" BECAUSE? What has this Marxist ideologue actually DONE for the country? [Apart from the mental masturbation "gratitude" from his supporters?]

Delusions of grandeur. And for those of you who've already outed themselves as Nobama supporters. Too late, you were a little too vocal in your support. We know now who the "kapos" would most likely be drawn from. I'm sure you'll be in the shock troops in his plans for mass indoctrination of youth in his "voluntary" national service plan. Suckers.

But what would you expect from a guy who "campaigned" for his blood thirsty cousin in Africa. Google "Obama" and "Odinga" if you're not too lazy - while you still can.

Somehow I'm betting this is something the Daily Telegraph forgot to tell you about in its "50 things about Barack Obama you didn't know.

So much for "content of character." RIP, MLK.

The more I read about the man the more appalled I am... Some of the people I know (I'm talking about here in the UK where Obama-veneration is a little reminiscent of the collective hysteria which erupted aftert the death of the Princess of Wales) seem to have had a device fitted inside their heads which automatically filters out any information which would show the "Messiah" in a negative light. Basically, no one will believe anything remotely bad about him. It's more than a little scary...

Don't wind up like Winston Smith!

(If this is too obscure a literary reference for some, then we are, indeed, in big trouble).

I am still trying to find that recipe for an Obama cake. Is "marble" too obvious or is that too racist?

Obama holiday--why? Just because he won an election? I don't get it!

Autumn Rose: Oddly enough, the blogroll is for the convenience of the blogger who creates the blog, and those who may be reading one's blog and jump to your blog. B ut since you asked me so nicely, why then yes, I will be delighted to remove you from my blogroll. Sieg Obama.
I'll have a chance to do that later tonight.

Obama is the LAST person who needs a holiday named after him...if he can get a holiday for accomplishing nothing, I say all of us here get a holiday named after us too, hey, we accomplished nothing in public matter either, we're all deserving, ;)

This'll make you spit, you being an all American Yankie girl. Look what my far-left bishop has gone and done now:

I'm utterly disgusted and have told Roger, sorry, Crispian Hollis so!

Please do leave a comment as I know he'll read it.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm litterally stunned as to how many people simply can't see through this empty suit. And a scary empty suit. He makes Jimmy Carter look sane, and that is frightening. Jimmy at least pounded a nail or two in his lifetime. It makes me laugh when I hear goofballs say "this isthe worst economy in 50 years." And in living memory of anyone over 40 we had double digit inflation, double digit unemployment and the prime rate at well above 20% under carter.

They don't teach history or economics in school anymore. The teach "grantsmanship" and "diversity." In my day there wasre no lectures on "diversity" - "sister" just told us not to make fun of people for things beyond their control. And that was enough and it was a far more civil society.

I have to remind myself that it's been almost 20 years now since the fall of the Soviet communist block (though plenty of other examples abound, i.e. china, Cuba, and other tinpots)and those under 30, unless they care to think and learn for themselves, simply have no idea that millions of people were afraid to speak out about their own government. No excuse for the schools not teaching this though.

Don't forget - they teach "feelings" at school too. Oh, and today in our weekly town rag the big question for those running for school board is "do you think there should be condom vending machines in schools." For every candidate that said "yes" I am voting "NO!"

Condom vending machines are nasty enough to see in the restrooms of bars. What next? Bananas and condoms in grade school?
