Yup. That cat was seriously spaced out on catnip... no normal cat just sits there while it is wrapped...

That cat is thinking "Yeah, I'll leave a little present for YOU in your stocking come Christmas morning!"
My one cat would have let me do the same thing - very mellow kitty.
Note the baleful glare the cat gives the owner when he puts the bow on the cat's head. That guy's going down.
Gem, I can't see the picture, but was interested in the subject. Reminds me of National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation" where the grandmother did wrap a cat for her present.
