Jorge came through!!! I was hoping all along that he'd free Ramos and Campean, the two border patrol agents who had been wrongly convicted of shooting a drug runner in the butt.
He commuted the sentences. An outright pardon would have been better, but free is free.
When he initially pardoned some folks and not these guys, I was REALLY disappointed in W. Couldn't believe it. But he did manage to commute their sentences before he left for TX. Guess W figured he better play nice with those protecting his southern border.
