And she can't have minded that much, because he's been dead 6 years and she still uses those ornaments... though she seems, unfortunately, to have a penchant for choosing lopsided Christmas trees that end up having to be tied to the wall.Stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08955770520790267352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3499957141699011933.post-14614071937414850682008-12-27T03:38:00.000+00:002008-12-27T03:38:00.000+00:00Stephen, wow. But ANYway... my favourite tree ornaments are my Dad's. They're slightly off-colour - basically, he collected tree ornaments which features animals that looked as if they were doing something nice animals wouldn't do in public (this collection was so well known that it made it into his eulogy. Yes, in Church.).Stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08955770520790267352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3499957141699011933.post-20993937728428337702008-12-24T16:11:00.000+00:002008-12-24T16:11:00.000+00:00Yeah, it is unusual I've come to realize. I usual...Yeah, it is unusual I've come to realize. I usually see the round glass balls, and then there's various do-dads like angels and whatnots that hang. But glass shaped like this? Nah. And not with the additional manufacturing steps of the painting and putting the frosted white "snow" glaze on it. I also use the same star I've had since I've been little. I'd have to get out photos of Christmas trees past, but I suspect the battered star is older than this ornament.gemoftheoceanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05521207668262592414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3499957141699011933.post-35930634394730340852008-12-23T22:12:00.000+00:002008-12-23T22:12:00.000+00:00What a very unusual ornament!
