Oh my gosh - That is sooooo true. I hate meetings and the words "steering committee" just sends chills up my spin. What the hell do they "steer" anyway?
Oh yes - and our wonderful "new" liturgical committee just seems to have evaporated. Had a bad case of the "don't give a shits". Makes no never mind - we were going to quit anyway. Saves us the effort. LOL
Hubby just told me that he was in a telecon with five other guys on this end and a room full of folks on the other end...one of those really important, miss-on-penalty-of-death meetings. Two hours later and no one in the room had been asked a question nor had they said a word to the folks on the other end.
Anonymous posters are fine, but please give yourself a nickname so I know anon I from anon II. "Jack/Jill of the Amazing Wolverine Tribe" is preferable to "anonymous."
